Climate Action with 100% Renewable Energy
By using 100% renewable electricity, we significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and actively support the transition to sustainable energy.
Product Carbon Footprint Transparency
We are developing a comprehensive database to track the carbon footprint of our products (PCF), ensuring full transparency across the entire value chain. The calculations follow a cradle-to-gate approach, aligned with ISO 14067 guidelines and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and cover emissions across scopes 1, 2, and 3:
- Scope 1 – Direct emissions from our production processes
- Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from purchased energy
- Scope 3 – Emissions along the supply chain
The majority of our products’ carbon footprint originates from raw material extraction and pre-production. To ensure accurate calculations, we rely on high-quality data from our suppliers and actively encourage them to establish their own CO₂ tracking systems.
Where direct scope 3 data is unavailable, we utilize scientifically established material databases to derive the best possible emissions estimates.
This approach enables a robust evaluation of our products' environmental impact and empowers our customers to make informed, sustainable choices.
